Recommend as we liked it. The location is absolutely perfect and exceptionally nice, 2 km from Halfmoon Bay. It has really excellent staff and great views.

I would be happy to recommend it, vibrant spot for trip. The location is very central. Being walk from a ferry port makes it easy to travel.

Memorable experience, the hotel is comfy with brilliant location very close to the ferry terminal. There are incredibly comfortable rooms with good bathrooms. The main bar is nice, greatly enjoyed this place.

The staff at South Sea Hotel was hard-working, knowledgeable, and responded promptly to requests. The restaurant was excellent with friendly, helpful staff, and we both ordered delicious dishes. The bathroom was tidy, and the beds were comfortable.

Thank you very much for the good stay for 2 nights. The location of the venue is amazing and beautiful, near the center of Oban, the shop, and the beach and center of town. Also, it's located 4 km from Horseshoe Point.

All in all everything was excellent, had a fine stay for one night with shared bathroom & toilet areas. The hotel had excellent and beautiful location not far from the island, the Rakiura Track and the 4 square. It also was right on the Half Moon Bay waterfront...

Place was grand old and quaint, loved the stay.

The room was modern, neat with bathroom, all amenities, as example, I was pleased. The hard-working and extremely helpful staff gave good recommendations.

Great location right by the water and with a nice view of the street. The room I got had a really comfy bed, plus they provided coffee and a kettle for a nice cuppa whenever I wanted. ☕

The hotel has a charming character and friendly staff. The food is exceptional and reasonably priced. It offers a fantastic location with great views over the bay. The roof terrace is a nice spot to relax. There's a nearby park and a giant chess set. It's convenient to rent electric bikes, visit the supermarket, and access the information center. Guests have the opportunity to participate in the weekly quiz night. It's also easy to reach the Blue Penguins' landing spot.
